Springfield’s Business Improvement District, the Greater Springfield-UMass Amherst Partnership, and TSM Design are the volunteer collaborators responsible for this exciting initiative.

We believe Springfield, Massachusetts, is ready to embrace a vibrant arts community. Art & Soles provides people with the opportunity to take a walk in the city’s downtown, view the work of 19 great local artists, and see what they believe “makes Springfield great.” The sneakers will be auctioned off to the highest bidder with the proceeds going to a fund at the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts to support public art.
